Week 18/14
On season 19 the Israeli league was enlarged to 2727 teams, to accomodate the massive number of newcomers. We expect the national teams will benefit from this enlargement.
Week 18/12
The squad is starting to get stable, couple of young talented players are taking a permanent place. This week we have beaten Slovenia 2-0 at home.
Week 18/01
After a long period of waiting, Israel received its own league and national team on season 18.
Manager Chingiss was elected as the national team manager, manager Igor08 was elected as the U20 manager.
On December 20th, 2002, Israel had faced its first ever game, an away match against England, one of the leading teams in the world.
Israel survived for 45 minutes the superiority of England, but collapsed at the 2nd half finding themselves at the end with a 0-5 defeat.
Despite the above Israel presented an impressing show of courage and proved signs of talent.
